At the beginning of the year, EQI and EQS received a significant prototyping order from Ford North America. The focus is on the CE1 program, which is aimed at mid-size pickup trucks – a strategically important segment.
The core of the project is the development of a hybrid-connected cooling plate for the power electronics within a high-voltage battery system. The first series comprises ten prototypes and is scheduled for delivery in early June.
The planned start of production is scheduled for the end of 2026. Both the vehicle and our innovative components will be manufactured in the USA. This project offers EQI a promising opportunity to successfully position and further expand our MPDB® technology in the North American market.
